Check Your Blocks

This past week, I conducted an inspection in Eagle Lake, approximately 45 minutes from La Grange. The property was a pier and beam home dating back to the early 1900s. Fortunately, the crawlspace provided ample room for me to move around and locate some issues. .

I identified multiple foundation blocks that had shifted significantly. Structural movement of this nature can compromise the stability of a home. If you observe similar displacement in your foundation supports, it is crucial to have them repositioned as soon as possible to prevent structural issues.
